Formant: Brand & Marketing
Alongside product work, I collaborated with the marketing and executive teams to lead the creative direction and visual identity for Formant’s brand. This included the company’s web presence, event experiences, campaign visuals, and large-scale initiatives such as the Robobusiness 2024 showcase.
The goal was to unify the brand across product and storytelling — creating a consistent design language that reflected Formant’s role as a bridge between humans and intelligent machines. Through motion graphics, illustration systems, and cohesive brand guidelines, we established a strong, modern presence in the robotics industry.
Formant Brand Evolution
Evolved Formant’s visual language to reflect its shift from startup to enterprise. The updated brand system introduced a more structured, confident, and data-driven aesthetic that balanced technical precision with clarity and sophistication, helping the company connect more effectively with enterprise robotics audiences across marketing and product touchpoints.

RoboBusiness Conference Booth
RoboBusiness 2024 marked Formant’s largest public presence to date, showcasing the company’s “Robot Corral” concept — a live display of partner robots from Canvas, Burro, Clearpath, Slalom, and Field AI, all connected and monitored through Formant’s platform.
As Lead Designer on the marketing team, I directed the visual identity and experience design for the booth, event environment, and supporting campaign materials. This included on-site graphics, interactive displays, motion content, and digital collateral. My goal was to elevate Formant’s brand from startup to enterprise-level visibility through cohesive design and storytelling.
The booth became a centerpiece of the event, driving awareness, recognition, and engagement from key robotics and enterprise attendees, including Meta, LG Electronics, Panasonic, and Toyota. The project highlighted design’s role in unifying the company’s brand and amplifying its leadership in robotics data visualization.





Used 3D modeling to plan Formant’s booth layout for RoboBusiness 2024, ensuring every robot, screen, and display was positioned for optimal visibility and flow. The spatial model guided fabrication, branding placement, and interactive zones, helping the team visualize the experience early and align design, marketing, and logistics around a cohesive environment.





Marketing
State of RaaS 2024
Designed the cover and visual identity for Formant’s State of Robotics-as-a-Service industry report. The design uses bold, offset typography and radial composition to represent the expanding network of connected robots and industries powered by Formant. Blending geometric structure with real-world imagery, the cover reflects the convergence of data, autonomy, and human impact that defines the RaaS landscape.

Formant Marketing Design
Developed conceptual brand collateral including posters and apparel for Formant’s marketing campaigns. The designs extend the company’s visual system through bold typography, geometric composition, and subtle use of robotics imagery, creating a consistent look across digital, print, and event materials.
