Scuba Diver’s Log

The logbook is a scuba diver’s essential tool for remembering and tracking underwater adventures. I took that concept one step further by transforming my own dive log into a cinematic motion piece, a visual story of the places I’ve explored beneath the surface.

Using Cinema 4D and After Effects, I designed a fully animated 3D world that reimagined the diver’s log as a living journey map. Each dive location, from Koh Tao, Thailand to Nalusuan Island, Philippines, was recreated through stylized low-poly environments and smooth camera paths that connected the global narrative of my dives.

This personal project became both a technical and creative exploration, blending motion design, storytelling, and 3D world-building. It served as a reminder that design does not always have to sell a product. Sometimes it is simply about capturing joy, curiosity, and the art of exploration.
